Retail Sales Assistant & Gift Shop Co-ordinator

Reverse Garbage Queensland is currently seeking an organised and energetic person to join our team in the multifaceted role of Retail Sales Assistant and Gift Shop Co-ordinator. It is a permanent part-time position for three 7.6 hour days per week (8.45am to 5.15pm) with the days likely to be Monday to Wednesday, though variations to this roster may be possible. The successful applicant will also be required to work an additional rotating Saturday shift every three weeks in sorting or sales as well as participate in other work of the co-operative.

Environmental Arts Workshop Facilitator

Reverse Garbage Queensland is currently seeking a creative and well organised Environmental Arts Workshop Facilitator. We are seeking someone who is passionate about educating people on issues of sustainability and the environment through our eco-art workshop program. This is a casual position with frequency of engagements determined by workshop demand. This is typically high during school holiday periods (so availability at these times is important), low in February, and steady throughout the remainder of the year.

February Listings: Eco-Art Workshops for Adults

Two in February, plus two Professional Development classes!

You're in luck! We have not one, but two, adult workshops this February! The themes are jewellery-making, using fabrics and paper, and woven-coil bowl making, using reclaimed materials.

Our 2018 workshop program for adults features traditional and innovative projects with a focus on sustainable creativity. Come along and be inspired!

Suitable for beginners, ages 13+. We supply all tools, materials and an experienced facilitator.

Reverse Garbage Queensland is currently seeking an organised and energetic person to join our team in the multifaceted role of Communications & Marketing Co-ordinator. We are seeking someone with communications and marketing qualifications and/or experience who is keen to make a positive contribution to a unique and dedicated not-for-profit organisation and passionate about issues surrounding sustainability, the environment and waste reduction. This is a permanent part-time position of four days per week (7.6 hours per day).

After nearly two decades of preventing waste by offering clean, affordable industrial discards and sustainability education, we’re hitting the ground running for another strong year ahead.

With the excitement of Christmas over and still weeks of summer holidays left, there's no time to be bored with some fantastic RGQ children's workshops on offer. Our school holiday workshops are really creative, a whole lot of fun and sure to keep young ones happy through the holidays. Choose from the ever popular Monsters and Dragons, Junk Bots and Musical Instruments, or our brand new workshop where you can design and create your own board game! Children will be stimulated creatively, learn new skills in 3D construction and take home an awesome creation all their own!
