Position Vacant! (Closed)

Reverse Garbage Queensland is currently seeking a creative and well organised Environmental Arts Workshop Facilitator. We are seeking someone who is passionate about educating people on issues of sustainability and the environment through our eco-art workshop program. This is a casual position with frequency of engagements determined by workshop demand. This is typically high during school holiday periods (so availability at these times is important), low in February, and steady throughout the remainder of the year.

The position involves preparing and packing for workshops, driving the workshop transit van (manual licence preferred unless applicants have their own suitable vehicle they are prepared to use) and delivering workshops for schools, child care centres, community groups and festivals both on and off-site. The successful applicant must be available for occasional Saturday and Sunday shifts to cater for festivals and special event workshops (penalty rates apply for weekend work).

Experience running workshops is preferred, however we will provide training on how to facilitate eco-art workshops. We are looking for someone who is capable of working on their own, but also enjoys working as part of a team and has a flexible, adaptable approach to their work.
