Hello Bag Makers!

Just a quick note to say thank you to everyone who came along to our yellow holey strip bag making workshop on Saturday, 23 May. We had a great time at the C&K Conference and appreciate the opportunity we had to "Connect, Collaborate and Create" with you! We always enjoy making things with salvaged materials and we really enjoyed making our yellow holey strip bags with you!

Rag Rug Making!

Eco-Art Workshop for Adults

Rag Rug making was initially, a relatively easy and inexpensive way to use worn out clothes to create a rug. Often, buying a new rug was beyond the household budget, and the clothes used to make them were practically rags having been mended and altered many times to get the utmost life out of them. Rag rugs added a touch of comfort and warmth by using what was at hand, disposal of useful household resources was unheard of.

Eco-Art Workshop for Preschoolers | 10 June

Once upon a time in the land of Waste-A-Lot, a clever princess and a brave knight set off on a creative quest to conquer trash and create amazing treasure!

“I will forge a sword,” said the Knight “and a strong shield as well!”

“And I will create a magic wand and a beautiful crown!” said the Princess. “We will call our new land Makes-A-Lot and craft happily ever after!”
