Wednesday 24 October

Do your students understand what a career in ecology can offer? How about landscape architecture? Or that almost every environmental consultancy, government department and NGO employs media and public relations staff? As the environmental sector continues to grow and diversify, so do the career opportunities.

October is... Buy Nothing New Month!!

Buy Nothing New Month at Reverse Garbage

Reverse Garbage celebrates October as part of the Buy Nothing New campaign!

Buy Nothing New Month reflects a growing global movement of people reassessing how and what they buy. Instead of a throw away attitude to 'stuff', Buy Nothing New Month extends the life of existing goods, maximises the value of existing stuff while promoting re-cycled, free-cycled, up-cycled, second-hand, 'swishing' and sustainable alternatives to buy nothing new that are better for you, your wallet and the planet.

We've got more parking spaces!

While we love our new bigger and better Woolloongabba warehouse, there was one thing that it was lacking, a decent car park!

We appreciate all of your efforts to get here in the past, despite the parking situation, but we're excited to announce that we now have extra parking space!

In the last couple of months we've completed a driveway crossover extension and re-painted the faded markings and it's working a treat!

Did you know we send materials by mail?

Large cardboard barrels of mixed materials are great for schools, kindergartens and childcare centres and make an interesting, inexpensive and environmentally responsible alternative to mainstream art and craft supplies.
