Dear Friends of Reverse Garbage Queensland,

Macrame Workshop – Come tie us in knots

short description:
See why Macrame is getting a new lease on life

Macrame is a gentle, creative and highly rewarding craft to learn.  It's also enjoying a major revival in the DIY crafts world.  Come and see why at our Macrame Wall Hangings workshop where we give this beautiful art form a sustainable edge by learning how to do it with salvaged materials.

Although it looks complex, the premise of macrame is one of simplicity. Lengths of cord are knotted at intervals, in succession and in groups to create textured patterns and designs for practical and decorative purposes.
